Up to 300 delegates from 47 countries attended the 10th Cities and Ports International Conference
which concentrated on the city-port relationship and, in particular, urban renewal.
For all decision makers and stake holders in the development of cities and port regions, it is becoming more and more essential to be able to base strategic decisions on a better knowledge of the economic, social and environmental challenges. For numerous years, the cities, the ports and their partners in the International Association of Cities and Ports network have been exchanging their knowledge and experiences with port cities from all over the world so as, together, to be able to find the most appropriate responses.
