Corindi River Boating Plan of Management
The Corindi River estuarine system forms
part of the Solitary Islands Marine Park and is located approximately
40km north of Coffs Harbour.
A draft boating management plan for the waters of the Corindi River was on public display from 1 September 2002 to 31 October 2002. Following evaluation of comments received, the Corindi River Boating Plan of Management document has now been finalised.
The plan is designed to provide a baseline from which to measure changes to waterway usage patterns over time, and also proposes management options and strategies, which reflect current vessel activity.
